Transparency in Practice Webinar

We hear a lot about transparency when discussing nature-based solutions (NbS), but what does it mean in practice?

In our Transparency in Practice webinar conducted together with Planet, we discussed the integration of NICFI satellite data into explorer.land forest cover time series.

Luisa Teixeira from Planet presented NICFI’s satellite data program and Planet’s high-resolution, analysis-ready mosaics of the world’s tropics. Alexander Watson from explorer.land demonstrated how all this works in explorer.land and how you can use the time series to get transparent information about nature-based projects.

Alexander also showed how you can switch on additional data sets while running the time series for a more comprehensive interpretation of land use cover and change.

Don’t miss the examples and tips for putting it all into practice for transparency and engagement with stakeholders at the end!

Not all forests are the same: why planting trees isn’t the same as restoring a forest
